This elegant Orvieto apartment can be found on the first floor of a historic building in the main street that runs through the middle of the town. It is really easy to reach from the funicular that runs from the train station at the bottom, to Piazza Cahen at the top of the hill. It is possible to walk from here (650m slightly uphill) or to get the CB bus from outside the funicular to Piazza Duomo and then walk down from there (220m). This bus is included in the funicular ticket.
Once you enter the building you will notice the large courtyard straight ahead. This outdoor space is for your exclusive use during your stay and is furnished with a dining table and chairs.
Turn left and go up one flight of wide comfortable stairs to reach the front door of the apartment. Inside you will be in the large living room, with three seating areas for relaxing, reading or watching TV. On the left there is a large glass door leading to a small balcony overlooking the private courtyard, then the door to the kitchen/dining room, and finally two of the three bathrooms.
On the right are the three bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite bathroom. Two bedrooms have king size beds and the other has two large single beds. The bedrooms all look out onto Corso Cavour where various marching bands and parades can be viewed right from the apartment.
This home is perfect for anyone who appreciates having a lot of space to themselves!
